This is the website of the Deer Lakes Volleyball Alumni Association. The site will be a great source of information about DLVB, from its beginning in the 70's to the current roster.

Let's hear it for the old guys.
 

We are now accepting memberships in the Alumni Association. The annual membership dues are $15. Joining now will extend your membership through December 2009. Former Deer Lakes players, coaches, trainers, managers and statisticians are eligible for membership. Membership will get you the DLVBAA newsletter (sign up using the newsletter link on the left), a dlvb.org or dlvbalumni.com email address - which can be an actual address or an alias that gets forwarded to your current address. You will have input into the association's activities as well as invitations to meetings and other events. Your name will also be listed on our members page showing your support for Deer Lakes Volleyball. You might ask why we are charging a membership fee. One of our goals is to help out the High School players. If we can get some money we can offer scholarships. We also have a team that plays in the annual WPIAL alumni tournament - they represent all of us. We might be able to provide some financial assistance to them. A summary of our financial activities will be posted on the site so you'll know where your dues are going. Currently Coach BJ Reiher and myself, Joe Guiciardi are handling the bank account.

Current High School players are not eligible for membership but can still sign up for the newsletter.

Make your check out to "Deer Lakes Volleyball Alumni Association" and  mail to DLVBAA, 401 Days Run Road, Creighton PA 15030.  Please include your date of graduation. At some point go to the newsletter link and sign up for the newsletter. If you haven't done so go to the database and enter your data. You do not have to join to enter your data.

If you own a business you can become a sponsor with a $50 or more donation in cash or services. Sponsors get listed on our sponsors page and we will do our best to send business your way. Sponsors do not need to be alumni but are subject to approval by the  association.

DLVB players and alumni go to the database link and enter your information. Just so you know your name, year of graduation, email address and what you are currently doing will be public - the other info is password protected from public viewing.

We are starting to put the scrapbooks together. It will take some time and we may need some of you to email some pictures - particularly the late 80's early 90's.
